The music video for Rihanna's single off her fourth studio album 'Rated R' manages to see the Barbadian beauty showing off her extreme side in skimpy military costumes.
A music video to support
Rihanna's single "Hard" has been premiered by MTV on Thursday afternoon, December 17. The video sees the Barbadian singer showing off her taste of "couture military", the term she previously used to describe the music video.
Throughout the video, the ex-girlfriend of
Chris Brown exposes lots of her skins by donning various kinds of skimpy military costumes. The video, moreover, also sees the 21-year-old running around the desert, hanging out on tanks, and running her own band of guerrilla fighters.
Talking about the concept of the music video, Rihanna recently told MTV, "Everything is surrounded around the idea of something military." She explained further, "We have tanks, we have troops, we've got helicopters, we've got explosions. We've got lots of cute outfits, lots of bullets. It's crazy."
"Hard" music video is directed Melina Matsoukas, who had worked on the music videos for several famous songstresses, including
Beyonce Knowles,
Lady GaGa, and
Eve. The single itself comes from Rihanna's fourth studio album "Rated R", which has been dropped in U.S. stores in November. Produced by Tricky Stewart and The-Dream, the track features rapper
Young Jeezy.
