Husband Blames Irreconcilable Differences for Divorce From LeAnn Rimes

Filing for divorce from his country music singer wife in Los Angeles Superior Court on December 17, Dean Sheremet asked her to pay spousal support and all attorney fees and costs.

LeAnn Rimes is currently in a divorce process from her husband Dean Sheremet. On Thursday, December 17, Dean filed for divorce from the country music singer in Los Angeles Superior Court. According to the divorce papers obtained by ET, the dancer cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for ending the marriage.

In the petition, it is mentioned that Sheremet also seeks for spousal support from Rimes. He, in addition, asks the 27-year-old beauty to pay all attorney fees and costs. The date of the couple's separation, however, is not yet listed in the papers.

LeAnn Rimes and Dean Sheremet tied the knot on February 23, 2002. In April of 2009, the singer was accused of cheating on her husband with her "Northern Lights" co-star Eddie Cibrian, who finally filed for divorce from his wife Brandi Glanville four months after the affair speculation broke out.

Then, in September, the "Life Goes On" hitmaker announced her separation from her husband. She, at that time, said, "This decision was amicable and we remain committed and caring friends with great admiration for one another." Since then, Rimes and Cibrian have been spotted going out together as a couple for several times.
