Finally meeting the man she has always been dreaming of on the day of her artificial insemination, Zoe learns the difficulty of dating while being pregnant.
Jennifer Lopez will be making her return to the big screen in 2010 with "The Back-Up Plan", and first look at her portraying pregnant Zoe has been shared through the film's first trailer. Released via Yahoo! Movies, the promo video takes a look at how her Zoe gets to know Alex O'Loughlin's Stan, and the comic errors the two are dealing with due to her pregnancy.
After years of dating to find the right one, Zoe decides that she has enough and resorts to use her back-up plan to be a mother. On the day of her artificial insemination, however, she meets Stan who has real possibilities of being the one. With baby on the way, she constantly sending confusing signals for Stan, before finally admitting her big secret.
Although Zoe is pregnant, Stan fully commits to build up relationship with her. Now, their growing romance is put to the ultimate test as they begin to get cold feet when both of them realize really don't know each other outside of hormonal chaos and birth preparations.
Originally titled "Plan B", "The Back-Up Plan" is an upcoming romantic comedy from director Alan Poul. Kate Angelo provides the script. Danneel Harris, Eric Christian Olsen and Noureen DeWulf are in supporting roles. April 16, 2010 will be the date the movie comes out in U.S. theaters.
