'We're so happy that we're finally married,' say the Jonas Brothers' member and the former hairdresser when announcing their Saturday night, December 19 nuptials at Oheka Castle in Long Island.
has officially tied the knot with his fiancee Danielle Deleasa on Saturday night, December 19. The twosome got hitched at a turn-of-the-century French-style chateau, Oheka Castle, on a sprawling estate in Long Island. Announcing their marriage, Kevin and Danielle told People, "We're so happy that we're finally married and we were able to share the special moment with family, friends and loved ones."
During the ceremony, former hairdresser Danielle as reported by People was seen donning a strapless tulle and Chantilly lace Vera Wang gown. She, additionally, wore a silk-and-crystal flower designed by Denise Leli in her hair while she was escorted down the aisle by her father, Thomas Deleasa. Serving as 22-year-old Kevin's best men were his brothers
Joe Jonas and
Nick Jonas.
A blizzard actually threatened the wedding ceremony from taking place, but the nuptials that was attended by 400 family members and friends, including
Demi Lovato, went as scheduled. Commenting on the wedding, celebrity event planner Michael Russo said, "The snow only made it look more like a winter wonderland."
Michael then went on to say of the newlyweds, stating "Danielle looked like a princess. Kevin couldn't stop smiling." He further added, "To see them together you can feel the warmth and the love all around them. They are just perfect for each other."
Kevin Jonas and Danielle Deleasa first met while vacationing in the Bahamas on 2007. On July 1 this year, he bent his knee to ask her hand in marriage. "She said yes, yes, yes like 500 times super fast in a row," the oldest member of
Jonas Brothers said of his proposal.
