Although her divorce from the 'Sherlock Holmes' director has been finalized, the 'Material Girl' singer is reported to celebrate Christmas together with him.
Guy Ritchie and
Madonna may no longer be husband and wife, but the two are reported to spend their Christmas together. According to Britain's Daily Mail newspaper, Madonna will reunite with her ex so that their children can spend Christmas Day with the movie director at his country estate in Wiltshire, England.
"Madonna is flying in for 24 hours so Guy can spend Christmas Day with the children," a source gushed about the 51-year-old singer's decision. The source added, "Things are amicable between them and the children love Christmas at Ashcombe House in Wiltshire, which Guy has turned into a Santa's grotto."
Madonna was married to Guy in December 2000. After seven-and-a-half years of marriage and numerous rumors of them separating, the couple finally admitted that they are divorcing in late 2008. "They have both requested that the media maintain respect for their family at this difficult time. A final settlement has not been agreed upon yet," a statement from her rep read at the time. Their divorce was finalized in January 2009.
From her marriage to the "
Sherlock Holmes" director, the multiple Grammy Award-winning artist has a son named Rocco John Richie. She and Ritchie also adopted a Malawian toddler David Banda two years before they separated. In addition to the two sons, she also has Lourdes Maria Ciccone Leon, a daughter from her previous relationship with personal trainer Carlos Leon.
