The 'American Idol' alum's single 'Empty As I Am', which didn't make the cut for the soundtrack of 'The Twilight Saga's New Moon', has slipped out for listening pleasure.
A Kelly Clarkson's song which is supposedly to be included in "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" soundtrack has leaked out. On Tuesday, December 22, her track "Empty As I Am" has been made available for free listening on YouTube.
About the song, as being reported by OK! Magazine, it was written by the winner of "American Idol" season 1 before Summit Entertainment has even approached her to work on the movie's soundtrack. The 27-year-old once described the track as a "sweet song with a sad melody."
Back in June, Kelly Clarkson was rumored being considered to make a contribution to the theme songs of the "Twilight" sequel. E! Online at the time claimed that the chosen song was her unreleased single "Did You?".
Clarkson herself had previously expressed her adoration for the Robert Pattinson-starring movie. Earlier this year, the "I Do Not Hook Up" hitmaker said, "Finished the Twilight books (so did my mom and sister) and we cannot wait for the next movie 'New Moon' ... Although it's a classic it doesn't have Edward Cullen in it so I pray it holds my attention. Ha!"
