Responding to the flying speculation that the 'American Idol' alum is having a bun in the oven, her rep states that Hudson's second album is 'the only delivery she is looking forward to in 2010'.
Jennifer Hudson is indeed expecting, but there is no baby involved this time around. Contrary to recent report claiming that she is expecting her second child, the Academy Award-winning actress is looking forward to release the follow-up to her self-titled debut album "Jennifer Hudson" in 2010.
The unraveling of the fact was made by the songstress' representative Lisa Kasteler when denying the pregnancy rumor. "Contrary to what has been falsely reported, Jennifer Hudson is not pregnant," she explained in the statement sent to Gossip Cop. "Jennifer is currently in the studio recording her second album and this is the only delivery she is looking forward to in 2010."
Beside unfolding Hudson's plan for her music career, Kasteler also spoke out about the future film project the "American Idol" has on her sleeves. "Jennifer leaves in April for South Africa where she will portray Winnie Mandela in the feature film, '
Winnie'," said the rep in detail.
False report that Jennifer Hudson is carrying a bun in the oven only four months after giving birth to her first child with fiance David Otunga was sparked by Star Magazine. A so-called friend to the singer, according to the publication, stated that Hudson learned about her pregnancy on December 10. The insider added, "Jennifer was in total shock when she found out she was having another baby."
Music-wise, the 28-year-old has released her debut album in September 2008. Produced by
Ne-Yo and
Timbaland among others, the album debuted at number two on the U.S. Billboard 200 and gave her one Grammys in addition to three NAACP Image Awards kudos.
