The Gabriella Montez of 'High School Musical' series has reportedly sued the owners of a web site who refused to take down her naked pictures.
Vanessa Hudgens is reportedly serving a website with a legal drama over nude pictures of hers. TMZ, which was first to break the news, reported that the 21-year-old beauty has filed a lawsuit against the owners of www.moejackson.com due to a fact that the site has posted her "self-portrait photographs" and refused to take them down.
The lawsuit read, "The photos were obtained by unknown methods and posted on the Internet by an unknown person without Hudgens' knowledge or consent." TMZ further noted that the suit doesn't mentioned that the pictures taken using a cell phone capture the Gabriella Montez of "High School Musical" series in her birthday suit, but the photos on the site tell a different story.
The girlfriend of actor
Zac Efron is reportedly seeking for damages. She also asks the judge to issue an injunction which orders the site to remove the images. At the same time, the "
Bandslam" actress also took the step of registering the nude photos with the U.S. Copyright Office.
This is not the first time Vanessa Hudgens is troubled by her nude photos making its rounds. Back in 2007, similar pictures exposing the actress in her birthday suit in her bedroom surfaced. Responding to the leak of the racy images, she said at the time, "it was really tough because I'm a private person and for something like that to happen, it's so mean."
