The actor is released after posting an 8,500 dollars bond, as new revelation that his wife Brooke Mueller was legally drunk when calling 911 surfaces.
Contrary to reports that he will be held without bond following his arrest for domestic violence charges on Christmas Day,
Charlie Sheen has bailed himself out of jail. On Friday evening, December 25, the Charlie Harper of "Two and a Half Men" has been released from Pitkin County Jail after posting an $8,500 bond.
As the 44-year-old actor comes out of jail, details of the incident that led to his arrest surfaces. TMZ came out with a scoop that at the time his wife
Brooke Mueller called 911, she was legally drunk. It was said that when the police gave Sheen and Mueller blood alcohol tests, she registered a .13 while he registered a .04. Mueller herself has been said admitting she was drunk.
Charlie Sheen after a call to 911 was made by Brooke Mueller, reportedly claiming that he choked her during a heated argument at their home in Aspen, Colorado. The actor was booked for second-degree assault, menacing and criminal mischief following the incident, and is now expected to appear in court on February 8, 2010 at 10.30 A.M.
Sheen and his wife has been married since 2008. According to Radar Online, the union has been in trouble for some time now. Mueller, who has given Sheen twin boys earlier this year, was allegedly spending her time in Aspen without him. The actor then flew to the ski-town resort to spend the holiday together with her.
