Braving the cold weather in the Big Apple, the Evelyn Salt depicter is photographed doing some re-shooting for the Phillip Noyce-directed movie.
After enjoying Christmas holidays with her family,
Angelina Jolie was snapped returning to the New York City set of "
Salt" on Monday, December 28. Doing some re-shooting for the upcoming thriller, the 34-year-old braved the wintry weather by donning a fur-lined hat and a matching coat.
Some of the re-shooting she did took place at The Frying Pan, a ship anchored bar/restaurant in the Hudson River. The venue has been used for both interior and exterior scenes in the movie. According to OK! Magazine, the living partner of
Brad Pitt had to do the re-shoots after the script underwent changes involving her on-screen husband character.
"They're basically writing him out of the movie," a source said. "In the original script Angelina watches her husband die in a scene. After they shot it they didn't like it for some reason and decided to change the script so they have to re-shoot some scenes."
In "Salt", Angelina Jolie takes the role of Evelyn Salt, a CIA officer who tries to clear her name after being accused of becoming a Russian spy in an attempt to kill the U.S. president. The "
Changeling" beauty replaces
Tom Cruise for the part and will be seen in theaters across the U.S. when the movie is released on July 23, 2010.
