'I assume that it will inspire some kind of new sonic energy and lyrical style,' the 'Bad Romance' singer relates her current 'Monster Ball Tour' to her yet-to-be-titled record.
After releasing her mini album "The Fame Monster",
Lady GaGa has already thought about the concept of her upcoming record. Speaking to MTV News, she promised that her yet-to-be-titled album will be completely different than her previous efforts. The "Just Dance" hitmaker, in addition, said she hoped that her "Monster Ball Tour" could inspire her new album.
"I assume that it will inspire some kind of new sonic energy and lyrical style," the 23-year-old related the U.S. leg of her "Monster Ball Tour" to her upcoming record. "Most certainly I have no f---ing clue what they're going to be yet, because I'm just starting this tour, and I wrote 'The Fame Monster' during the last tour."
Of how the new record is going to sound, GaGa hinted, "Well, I'm going to write new music ... that's the beauty of writing your own music - you don't have to rely on songwriters and producers to write hit songs for you." She added, "So I'm going to write a new album and I'm going to have new ideas."
In addition to the "Bad Romance" singer, producer RedOne recently teased about what he has in store for GaGa's new album. "I don't want to say, because you always want to shock people," he stated. "And you don't want to let people know, so that when they hear it, [they go], 'Oh my God.' "
Lady GaGa is currently hitting the road for the U.S. leg of her "Monster Ball Tour". The gig was kicked off on November 27 in Montreal and will wrap up on January 24, 2010 in New York City. On the following month, she is scheduled to begin the U.K. leg of the tour.
