The Motormouth Maybelle of 'Hairspray' will take part in an all star musical number, while Taylor Lautner, Kellan Lutz and Carrie Underwood are among the attendees.
Being tapped to host the 36th Annual People's Choice Awards,
Queen Latifah will give audience a treat with a musical number. The 39-year-old songstress, who has starred in two successful musicals "Chicago" and "
Hairspray", has recently been reported to kick off the award show by leading an all-star musical number.
Details of which stars will join the star of "
The Secret Life of Bees" on the stage as well as what songs will be featured are yet disclosed. However, executive producer Mark Burnett has promised that the award show itself will be packed with performances. "We have jam-packed this show with epic performances, surprises and huge show moments that will be sure to keep the audience glued to their seats," he said.
"The stars are coming out in droves to thank the millions of fans who showed their love and support by voting," Burnett continued. "And with exclusive sneak peeks of some of the best upcoming movies and television along with energetic music performances, it's truly going to be a night to remember - and a great way to jump-start 2010."
2010 People's Choice Awards will take place on January 6, 2010. It will be broadcast live from Nokia Theater on CBS starting at 9/8c.
Mary J. Blige has just been announced to make a live performance during the show.
Carrie Underwood,

Mariah Carey and
Keith Urban are among those confirmed to attend.
