'I think people don't really take me seriously because I'm 16,' the Jenny Humphrey of 'Gossip Girl' complains on being constantly reminded she is only 16 years old.
Although she is only 16 years old,
Taylor Momsen wants people to know that she can be taken seriously. In a recent interview with Seventeen magazine, the Jenny Humphrey of The CW's "Gossip Girl" shared what she has in mind. "I think people don't really take me seriously because I'm 16," she complained.
"And they think most 16-year-olds don't know what they want to do," the actress who also the lead singer of post-grudge band The Pretty Reckless continued on. She went on to assure others that she knows what she is doing. "But I actually really do, because I've been thinking about it since I was [two-years-old]," so she claimed.
Though so, Momsen admitted that she does have similar angst like other teenagers. "I am angsty," she said. "I'll be angsty until I'm 80 years old. I think that keeps things fresh. But I always think angst is such a derogatory word toward teenagers. It just means you're figuring s*** out, and I don't know why that's a negative thing.' "
Earlier, Taylor Momsen has been hit with rumors that she is jealous of
Leighton Meester. She was said furious because The CW has used her "Gossip Girl" co-star's songs, "Good Girls Go Bad" and "Somebody To Love", but never asked to play any of her singles. Her anger reportedly created a lot of tension on the set of the popular teen drama.
