At the same time Mueller's attorney claims that the married couple is 'very much in love', Sheen's attorney asks judge to dismiss a restraining order that prevents the two from communicating.
Despite the alleged domestic violence incident that took place on Christmas Day,
Charlie Sheen and his wife Brooke Mueller want to reconcile. Mueller's attorney Yale Galanter was the first to bring out the news, telling The Associated Press on Wednesday, December 30 the "Two and a Half Men" star and his wife hope to work out their marriage.
"They're very much in love. They want to try to work it out and want to have the best shot at doing that," Galanter said. "I will tell you that both parties want to attempt to work this out. Whatever was said and whatever happened, I'm chalking it up as one really bad night."
Sheen's attorney Richard Cummins, in addition, also confirmed his client's desire to save his marriage to the actress. On Wednesday, Cummins filed a court motion, asking a judge to dismiss a restraining order that prevents the twosome from having contact.
The reconciliation news aside, it has been unraveled that Mueller has a criminal history as claimed to have obtained her arrest records. The criminal history information for the state of Florida reveals that she had been arrested twice, for DUI and damage to property in September 1996 and for cocaine possession, a 3rd degree felony, in March 2001.
Charlie Sheen was arrested on Friday, December 25 after a call to 911 was made by Brooke Mueller. She, at the time, claimed that she was threatened with a knife by her husband during a heated argument at their house in Aspen, Colorado. Later in the evening, the 44-year-old star was released from Pitkin County Jail after posting an $8,500 bond, but he is still expected to appear in court at 10.30 A.M. on February 8, 2010.
