Since the initial autopsy on Jimmy 'The Rev' Sullivan did not show definitive evidence for his sudden passing, authorities have ordered additional tests that include toxicology test.
There is still no clear evidence on what may have caused the death of
Avenged Sevenfold drummer, James Owen Sullivan aka Jimmy Sullivan. The Associated Press (AP) reported that the initial autopsy on the late rocker, who also went by the nickname of The Rev, had turned up inconclusive.
Due to the fact, Orange County coroner's office has ordered additional tests, including toxicology, microscopic and laboratory tests, to determine why Jimmy died. Revealing the news to AP on Tuesday, December 29 was Orange County sheriff's spokesman Jim Amormino. Result of tests are expected to come out in several weeks.
28-year-old Jimmy Sullivan was found dead in his Huntington Beach home in California at approximately 1 P.M. on Monday, December 28. A day following, Avenged Sevenfold's remaining band members released a statement through their official site. "It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we tell you of the passing today of Jimmy 'The Rev' Sullivan," their message read.
"Jimmy was not only one of the world's best drummers, but more importantly he was our best friend and brother," members, M Shadows, Synyster Gates, Zacky Vengeance and Johnny Christ, went on. "Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jimmy's family and we hope that you will respect their privacy during this difficult time. Jimmy you are forever in our hearts. We love you."
