Having had a night of partying at the opening of Klutch Nightclub, the 'Gossip Girl' beauty is captured relaxing with friends in Miami Beach.

Leighton Meester is expected to ring in 2010 at the Dusk Club in Atlantic City, but she makes sure to have some relaxing time with friends. On Wednesday afternoon, December 30, the Blair Waldorf of The CW's "Gossip Girl" has been spotted hanging out with her companions at the Shore Club Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida.

In the photos released by Gossip Center, the 23-year-old was seen spending a lazy afternoon at one of the hotel's poolside cabanas after a late night of partying and performing on Tuesday, December 29 at the opening of Klutch Nightclub. On the occasion, she played with her nieces, had a chat with other family and enjoyed a few laughs.

Leighton Meester recently told E! News that she doesn't have any New Year's resolution. "I don't make them, because I don't keep them!" the girlfriend of Sebastian Stan shared. She then recalled when the possible last time she made her resolution. "Maybe when I was 8, I said I'd make my bed every day," so she claimed.

Looking back at 2009, she expressed her excitement for the year ahead, saying "This has been the best year of my life, and I think next year is going to be even better." The actress, who reveals that "Gossip Girl" fans can expect one character being pregnant, additionally opened up, "I've learned a lot about myself. I think I've become more of a woman."
