Kevin Alejandro, the Detective Nate Moretta of the NBC drama, is expected to appear in almost every episode of 'True Blood' season 3 as Jesus, potential love interest for Nelsan Ellis' Lafayette.
Another TV actor has been added to the cast ensemble of "True Blood". After "One Tree Hill" actor
Joe Manganiello and "The Bold and the Beautiful" actress Natasha Alam joined the HBO series for the upcoming season three, "Southland" actor Kevin Alejandro landed the role of Jesus Velasquez.
Alejandro's Velasquez is described to be a hot gay Latino in charge for the taking care of Alfre Woodard's Ruby Jean Reynolds at her care facility. He will get involved with Ruby's son, Lafayette, who is played by Nelsan Ellis. While it is still unclear in which episode he'll make his debut, The Hollywood Reporter noted that he is expected to appear in almost every episode of the new season.
Kevin Alejandro can be seen portraying Detective Nate Moretta in "Southland", which has been recently moved from NBC to TNT. Before starring in the drama series, he has made an appearance in several other TV shows, such as "Shark", "Drive" and "Ugly Betty". For the latter in particular, he played Santos, the father of Justin Suarez and love interest of Hilda.
Like Alejandro, Joe Manganiello and Natasha Alam also joined "True Blood" to be a major character's potential love interest. Manganiello landed the recurring part of werewolf Alcide Herveaux, which could end up having a fling with
Anna Paquin's Sookie, while Alam will play Fangtasia's new dancer Yvetta, who will have a sexual relationship with
Alexander Skarsgard's Eric.
