Having performed the first show on the tour with his side project, the youngest of the Jonas Brothers shares his disbelief, 'It's kind of hard to believe it's all happening.'
Having kicked off tour with side project The Administration on January 2,
Nick Jonas came forth to describe his excitement over the band's first show in Dallas. "I thought it was great," he told MTV News when asked about the gig at the House of Blues. "It's kind of hard to believe it's all happening, to think I'm on tour now is an incredible thing."
"After that was done I realized I'm going to be on the road for the month," the 17-year-old further admitted. He continued on saying, "I think it is [sinking in] now that I have seen my tour bus. And people are starting to get more familiar with the material ... [Also the fan response has] been great so far, and seeing them and pouring my heart into this performance every night is a lot of fun."
Asked about his thought over the fact that friend and "
Camp Rock" co-star
Demi Lovato was missing out his first show, the youngest member of the
Jonas Brothers said, "I think she's going to try and come out to the L.A. show." He added, "She wrote and was like, 'So sorry, can't make it.' She was feeling under the weather. It's all good. I will see her again I'm sure. You can't help when you get sick."
After the Dallas gig, Nick Jonas and The Administration performed at Ryman Auditorium, Nashville on January 4. The band will be on the road until January 30 when they take on the stage of Zellerbach Auditorium in Berkeley, CA. They'll perform songs from upcoming debut album "Who I Am" as well as some surprise cover songs and a handful of Jonas Brothers' songs that are personal to Nick.
