Casey Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene after Los Angeles police and firefighters were called to a house at 11:51 A.M. on Monday, January 4. Fiancee Tila Tequila confirmed her death through Twitter, writing "R.I.P my Angel," the reality star's last tweet read. "@caseyjonsonJnJ u will forever be in my heart! I love u so so much and we will Marry when I see U in Heaven my Wifey."
The 30-year-old socialite underwent an autopsy on Tuesday, January 5. Although her cause of death is yet certain, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office confirmed that foul play has been ruled out. "That I can confirm," Captain John Kades told MTV News. "We did complete the autopsy and the anatomical findings show no evidence of trauma to the body."
In the meantime, a police source has suggested that her death may be related to diabetes. "She was still suffering from diabetes and she was still on diabetic medications," the source told People. "The speculation is she came home after a night of partying and passed out without taking her meds or her insulin and that was the end of her." Autopsy results are pending toxicology results.
