Reasoning that the lead actress of 'Hannah Montana' needs something to fall back on, the star of 'Lipstick Jungle' has been motivating the younger actress to pursue higher education.
Brooke Shields has been doing her best in encouraging
Miley Cyrus to go to college, Star Magazine reported. A source told the magazine that Brooke, who plays Miley's mom on "Hannah Montana" already had the talk with her on-screen daughter regarding higher education. "Brooke's been pushing Miley to go to college," the source said. "She says she needs something to fall back on."
Brooke's effort to persuade the younger actress to start thinking about going to college seems to be paid off. Although Miley didn't put much thought on college in 2009, it is said that the lead actress of "
The Last Song" is planning on applying to college in 2010. "She'd love to be an Ivy Leaguer like Brooke," the source informed. Brooke graduated from Princeton University with a degree in French Literature in 1987.
The Disney actress herself had admitted that she is interested in photography after her Vanity Fair's racy shoot with the famous photographer Annie Leibovitz came out in 2008. "I got to work with an amazing photographer. (Leibovitz) was amazing and so talented. And that's what I want to do with my life. I would love to be a photographer. I would love to work with her again." Miley at the time told UK's Daily Record.
Along with the unraveling of her desire to study photography and be a pro, Miley Cyrus also mentioned that she wants to get her degree in photography in England, particularly in London. "I want to come to London to study photography," she said. "I hear there are some really great art schools, so I would love to do that."
