The lead singer of The Pussycat Dolls will lend her vocal when the rock band perform their latest hits 'Hot Mess' and 'Good Girls Go Bad' at 36th Annual People's Choice Awards.
Nicole Scherzinger is set to duet with the pop punk band
Cobra Starship at the 36th Annual People's Choice Awards. The lead singer of
The Pussycat Dolls has agreed to lend her vocal and accompany the band during their performance at the award show, which will be broadcast live from Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, January 6, 2010 on CBS.
Scherzinger along with Gabe Saporta and the rest of the band members will perform a medley of their latest single "Hot Mess" and their platinum hit "Good Girls Go Bad" at the award show hosted by
Queen Latifah. Cobra Starship is best known for their debut single "Snakes on a Plane (Bring It)" from the "Snakes on a Plane" soundtrack. Their second hit single, which they recorded with guest vocal by
Leighton Meester "Good Girls Go Bad", is nominated for Favorite Music Collaboration.
Joining Scherzinger and Cobra Starship on the performers line-up is
Mary J. Blige. In the meantime,
Ashton Kutcher,
Taylor Lautner,
Kellan Lutz,
Sandra Bullock and
Mariah Carey have confirmed that they will attend. "We have jam packed this show with epic performances, surprises and huge show moments that will be sure to keep the audience glued to their seats," said Mark Burnett, Executive Producer of 2010 People's Choice Awards.
Currently, the People's Choice Awards' website has drawn millions of voters logging in and voting for their favorites, which has resulted in record-breaking of 60 millions votes. Although most of the categories are already close, the categories of Favorite New TV Comedy and Drama will remain open online until the show starts on Wednesday night.
