Having got the chance to work with both actors in 2009, the actress opens up that Clooney gave her a hard time on 'Up in the Air' set because she also stars alongside the 'Twilight Saga' hunk.
Talking about about working with two Hollywood hunks,
George Clooney and
Robert Pattinson, at the same time in 2009,
Anna Kendrick reveals the feud between the two on their heartthrob status. The star of "
Up in the Air" shared the story in an interview with
Ellen DeGeneres for the comedienne's January 8 episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show".
Stopping by the talk show, she first revealed how George often teased her for working with Robert in "
The Twilight Saga's New Moon". "Yeah, George gave me such a hard time about shooting 'Twilight,' " she opened up. "Whenever I came back, it was like, 'Oh sorry, this isn't the 'Twilight' set. You're not working with Mr. Handsome.' He called Rob 'Mr. Handsome.' "
She then went on to admit that she helped fuel the playful competition. "One of the times I went up to Vancouver, I got Rob, who was that month on the cover of GQ ... I got Rob to sign a copy of GQ, 'To George, Best of Luck. Hang in there. Love Rob,' " she recalled. "I gave it to George and George signed his Esquire back to him, 'Dear Rob, Thanks for all the inspiration. I'm a huge fan. Love, George, two-time 'Sexiest Man Alive.' "
Anna Kendrick is known for her role of Jessica Stanley in the "Twilight Saga" series. Having caught critics' attention with her performance in 2007's "Rocket Science", the 24-year-old gathered more attention from her Natalie Keener part in "Up in the Air". She has won National Board of Review Award's Best Supporting Actress, and is up for the upcoming Golden Globes and Screen Actors Guilds.
