Natalie Portman Vows to Never Strip Naked On-Screen

Learning from her experience after she partially stripped off for a sex scene in 'Hotel Chevalier', the 'Thor' actress has committed to keep her clothes on at all times.

Natalie Portman has vowed to never strip naked on-screen. The 28-year-old actress reasoned that she doesn't want to find her naked pictures on porn sites. "I just don't want to do something that will end up as a screen grab on a porn site," she told Elle Magazine. She also mentioned that counting on nudity is not a good move because "that sort of thing doesn't last."

Portman has committed to always keep her clothes on at all times after she discovers that stills of her steamy scene in "Hotel Chevalier" have popped up all over the web. In the 13-minute short companion piece to "The Darjeeling Limited", the Anne Boleyn of "The Other Boleyn Girl" partially stripped for a sex scene.

The Israel-born actress described the experience of finding her partially naked pictures all over the web as really depressing. In addition, she also expressed her disappointment in the reviews she received, half of which were focusing on the sex scene. "It really depressed me that half of every review on the film was about the nudity. It made me think I shouldn't have done it," Portman told WENN.

The "Brothers" beauty added she doesn't object nudity in film. She, however, mentioned it will be an issue if the focus is put on the wrong thing. "I'm not prudish about nudity," she said. "I think it's beautiful in films, and sex is such a big part of life. My issue is that I feel it takes something away from what you're doing when the focus is put on the wrong thing. My picture ended up on porn sites, and that's the dilemma."

Natalie Portman is currently filming "Black Swan", a thriller that revolves around the relationship between a veteran ballet dancer and a rival. In this Darren Aronofsky-directed movie, she is joined by "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" actress Mila Kunis, who reportedly will be engaged in an explicit sex scene with her. It is unclear whether Portman will be seen naked for the scene considering her vow.
