The 32-year-old singer's wife, Kelly, has delivered a healthy baby girl named Kloey Alexandra Fatone on Monday evening, January 11
Singer Joey Fatone and wife Kelly Baldwin Fatone have welcomed another baby girl into their family. The couple's second daughter was born on Monday evening, January 11 in Orlando, Florida, and weighs 5 lbs., 8 oz. "Kloey's so small," the former
NSYNC member told People Magazine. "She looks like a little doll. But she's healthy and doing just fine."
The 32-year-old proud papa and his wife have named the newest member of the family, Kloey Alexandra Fatone. He revealed that the name Kloey comes from a combination of his and Kelly's names. As for the middle name Alexandra, it was selected by the couple's eldest daughter, 8-year-old Briahna, for her new baby sister.
Fatone also recalled that Kelly's second pregnancy wasn't an easy one. After learning Kelly was expecting, she began fighting chronic fatigue. "She was so tired, just exhausted all the time," Fatone talked about his wife of five years' condition during pregnancy. "We took her to the doctors, and they found blood clots in her lungs." Kelly then was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition called methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase.
In order to avoid any complication after she experienced a rapid heartbeat and fainting spells recently, doctors decided to induce Kelly's labor two weeks before her due date. Once the baby was delivered, doctors declared that both baby and mother were doing fine. "The blood clots have broken up, Kelly's doing fine and Kloey is awesome," the "Dancing with the Stars" alum noted, adding he is "so happy that everyone's healthy."
