Sneak Peek: Adam Lambert Sad and Lonely in 'Whataya Want' Video

Days before music video for single 'Whataya Want From Me' is released, a preview has been shared and presented the 'American Idol' alum toning down his look.

A sneak peek at Adam Lambert's music video for new single "Whataya Want From Me" has come out for viewing pleasure. Brought out by MTV, the 30-second preview takes a look at the runner-up of "American Idol" season 8 exposing his less controversial side as he is seen getting upset, feeling lonely and being insecure.

The snippet also captures the 27-year-old singer trading his outlandish outfit and make-up with a more casual look. It also displays him singing his whole heart out while wandering alone in a sparse apartment. There is no footage of him being followed by his fans and paparazzi outside of a nightclub though.

"Whataya Want From Me" is Adam Lambert's second single off his debut album "For Your Entertainment". It follows up the video for his effort's title track which was released in November 2009. The singer himself has made use of his Twitter account to announce the debut of "Whataya Want" video, tweeting that it is "set to premiere between 6am-10am on Friday morning on VH1."
