The star of 'Chuck' reportedly ends his two-year romance with his singer girlfriend after they returned from a vacation in Turks and Caicos and Puerto Rico.
Zachary Levi is back on the single market. Us Magazine broke the news that the 29-year-old TV actor has split from his girlfriend of two years, Caitlin Crosby, on Saturday, January 9 just a day before season three of his action comedy series "Chuck" was premiered on NBC.
Us reported that the break-up came after Levi and Crosby returned from a vacation in Turks and Caicos and Puerto Rico. A friend told the publication that a photo from the vacation which is posted on Facebook has hinted the split. "In the photo, he's drinking beer, and she's reading The Shack," the friend mentioned.
This is not the first time the "
Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel" actor has tried to cut romantic ties with Crosby, the pal stated. This time, though, his reason for pulling of the romance plug "was bad timing". Noting that the actor has told the singer "if God brings them together in the future it's meant to be," the source added, "Guess he thinks he's too big a 'star' now. No more Mr. Nice Guy."
On Tuesday afternoon, January 12, Crosby changed Facebook status to "single". On how the 26-year-old handled the break-up, the pal said, "She is heartbroken, but she is already writing great songs about it." Her representative, however, declined to make comment on the split report, stating "We don't comment on our clients' personal lives."
