Jessica Biel Has Conquered Mount Kilimanjaro

In the effort to raise world's water crisis awareness, the 'Easy Virtue' actress reached the Uhuru Peak on January 12 along with %cLupe Fiasco% and several other celebrities.

Actress Jessica Biel has succeeded in reaching the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro on Tuesday, January 12. The star of "The Illusionist" has climbed to the summit of the Tanzanian mountain to raise awareness for the world's water crisis. Joining the expedition are "Into the Wild" actor Emile Hirsch and rapper Lupe Fiasco among others.

The 27-year-old actress got to stand on Africa's tallest peak at 1:30 A.M. after climbing and dealing with a harsh blizzard for seven hours. Once she and the other climbers reached Uhuru Peak, they posed for a photograph while holding a sign that said "SEND WATER." Because of the harsh weather, Biel and fellow climbers only stayed at the summit for no more than 45 minutes.

While Biel hasn't shared on her experience climbing the mountain, Hirsch recalled, "The last 48 hours have been the most intense and physically grueling experience of my life. Miraculously, we all made it to the top together." He added, "To have such a complete success for such a worthwhile cause - the global clean water crisis - more than reaching the summit is what is really satisfying."

In other news, Jessica Biel has been once again rumored to have broken up with boyfriend Justin Timberlake. Hollyscoop has exclusively announced the 27-year-old actress and the 28-year-old singer have officially over, pointing out that the two have not been seen together since late October 2009. It went even further by suggesting the split as the cause of Timberlake deciding not to join the Mount Kilimanjaro climb.

Despite the claim, Gossip Cop debunked the rumors by mentioning that the Hollywood couple have been spotted together recently. The site provided proofs by linking to an earlier news by OK! Magazine. On January 4, OK! posted several photos of Timberlake and Biel having a vacation together on January 2 in Telluride, Colorado.
