'We're grateful this was only a false alarm and I just had my pink Hermes scarf over me,' the star of 'The Hills' explains about the misunderstanding which led to report of a possible kidnapping.
Heidi Montag is not in any danger of being kidnapped whatsoever. Soon after reports surfaced that Los Angeles police have been called to her Los Angeles home with a report of a possible kidnapping, the star of reality series "The Hills" came out with a statement that it was all a false alarm.
"We're grateful this was only a false alarm and I just had my pink Hermes scarf over me," the wife of
Spencer Pratt explained to People Magazine what really caused the misunderstanding in the first place. "A neighbor was concerned and called the police. We're thankful to the LAPD for their response and making sure we were safe."
The story of the possible kidnapping first came out from TMZ. The site reported that a witness shared that on Wednesday afternoon, January 13, LAPD have swarmed and blocked the street outside of Speidi's house as they yelled at someone to come out of the house. Moments later, the police detained a medium-build white male who wore blue jeans and a black shirt.
Later on, it was uncovered that the man was actually one of Spencer's employees. He was escorting Heidi, who was hidden under a scarf to avoid being photographed, into the home. But, his act was mistaken by someone who believed that he held the 23-year-old against her will. The misunderstanding has since been cleared up, and the man has been released.
Heidi Montag has recently revealed that she is addicted to plastic surgery. In a new interview with People, the TV personality who is trying to make her break in music industry admitted that she underwent 10 surgeries in just one day on November 20, 2009. "For the past three years, I've thought about what to have done," she further shared. "I'm beyond obsessed."
