Revealing that he has been battling Hodgkin's lymphoma, the star of 'Dexter' uncovers that his disease is in remission.
Bringing in news that he has been battling cancer,
Michael C. Hall has stated that he is almost finished with the treatment. The actor who plays a serial killer in Showtime's drama series "Dexter" revealed on Wednesday, January 13 that he was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma, but the disease is now in remission.
"I feel fortunate to have been diagnosed with an imminently treatable and curable condition, and I thank my doctors and nurses for their expertise and care," the 38-year-old said in a statement. His spokesman, Craig Bankey, told People that although the cancer is in remission, the TV actor will continue scheduled treatments.
Known for his role as Dexter Morgan, Michael C. Hall is up for Best Actor in Drama Series at the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards. He has confirmed that he plans to attend the awards ceremony to be held on January 17 with his wife and "Dexter" co-star
Jennifer Carpenter. He also mentioned that he plans to come to the 2010 Screen Actors Guild Awards on January 23.
