Katy Perry's pregnancy continuously popping up all over the web, a representative for the "Hot N Cold" hitmaker came out with a denial. Responding to circulating speculation that the singer has got her first sonogram and is showing off a baby bump, the rep told Us Magazine that those news are "not true".
While her rep released an official statement, the 25-year old singer herself slammed pregnancy report by mentioning she was on her period on her Twitter account. "ur gonna make me cry, maybe that's my period tho. THAT'S RIGHT I'M BLEEDING. Face. Better luck next month peepz," she tweeted to fellow musician Doctor Luke on Wednesday evening, January 13.
Prior to the denial, X17 photographers claimed to have spotted Katy leaving Century City Doctors Hospital in Century City, California on January 13. They additionally reported that the "I Kissed a Girl" hitmaker, who recently announced her engagement to English comedian
Russell Brand, was there to get her first sonogram.
The photographers continued on giving details of the sighting to X17 Online. "Katy looked positively radiant when she stepped out of the doctors office, and while she wouldn't comment on her pregnancy, her face said it all," said the on-scene photographers.
