Having said her goodbye as Allison Cameron in a November episode, the 30-year-old actress reportedly will be seen before the end of season 6.

Jennifer Morrison can't stay away from the FOX's medical drama series for long. has broken the news that the actress is back for more of the show, confirming she will reprise her Allison Cameron role later in the current season.
"You will see Cameron again on House before the end of the season," an insider told EW's Michael Ausiello. Although revealing that the 30-year-old actress will make her return to the show, the source refused to provide details on the timing and context of her return, reasoning that it involves a major storyline.
In November 2009, Jennifer Morrison confessed that she doesn't know whether her character will make a return to "House M.D.". The "
Star Trek" actress, at the time, said "I really don't know. All I know is that I don't know. And they keep making it very clear to me that I don't know. I feel bad [because I wish] that I had an answer for people. But, uh, anything could happen I guess. I'm still a series regular, technically."
While she is uncertain of Cameron's future, executive producer David Shore has spilled that her departure will not be permanent. "Dr Chase is going to face a consequence from his actions, and Jennifer will be leaving for a while as a result," he explained on the absence. "I don't want to deny or diminish that, but I also don't want to act like this is the end."
