The 'Paparazzi' hitmaker will play host at the Hands Up for Marriage Equality benefit on January 16 to raise awareness and money for organizations dealing with equality and justice for LGBT community.

Lady GaGa is determined to continue her support towards the gay community by hosting an event that calls for the legalization of same-sex marriage in the U.S. The 23-year-old dance electronica sensation will present the Hands Up for Marriage Equality benefit on Saturday, January 16 at Club Worship in the House of Blues at Showboat in Atlantic City, NJ.
Known as the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) advocate, the "Paparazzi" star is planning to use the event to raise funds for four organizations, which have been long working to support and fight for equality and justice for LGBT community. Empire State Pride Agenda, Equality Pennsylvania, Garden State Equality and The Power are the organizations mentioned.
In a statement issued on January 13, GaGa voiced her support for the cause. "I am honored to be able to continue to raise awareness and money for this cause and these outstanding organizations," she said. "Organizations like these are in the trenches every day working on behalf of all of us whether you are LGBT or straight. Equal and full civil rights are supposed to be for all of us."
Joining Lady GaGa at the event are DJs Michael DeCero and Vito Fun. Doors open at 10 PM and the event is expected to run until 4 A.M. There will be no admission but guests are expected to give donation with a minimum of $20. One hundred percent of the donation will be donated to the four organizations.
