When another customer of the trendy eatery politely asks the 'Gossip Girl' star to watch her language, she allegedly shouts, 'F-- you! How dare you tell us to keep it down?'
Leighton Meester has channeled her bratty "Gossip Girl" ego during a night out in New York City. According to The New York Post, the actress who plays Blair Waldorf on The CW's series has caused a scene while dining with boyfriend
Ed Westwick and friends at Philippe restaurant on Tuesday night, January 12.
Barreling into the trendy East 60th Street eatery, the 23-year-old and her gang reportedly were quick to prompt complaints from fellow diners with their curses and loud talking. A witness recalled when one customer at a table of lawyers and investment bankers politely asked her to keep it down, she responded with some harsh words, saying "f - - - you! How dare you tell us to keep it down?"
She wasn't the only one behaving obnoxiously on the night though. "Other girls in their party were being really nasty, too," the witness added, before mentioning that Westwick was the one who made a plea for peace in the end. "Don't worry about my friends," the actor allegedly said. "We should all be happy. Let's hug it up, guys."
There are yet words from the representatives for Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick regarding the rumored incident. Staff at Philippe restaurant declined to make any comment on the matter as well.
