The 'American Idol' alum has taped his interview with Oprah Winfrey for the January 19 edition of 'The Oprah Winfrey Show'.
Having confirmed that he will indeed making an appearance on "The Oprah Winfrey Show", Adam Lambert followed it up with a first look on his visit. On Thursday, January 14, the 27-year-old singer tweeted a link to the photo of him locking arms with Oprah Winfrey inside Harpo Studios in Chicago.
The photo was actually released via Twitter by the Oprah camp. It exposes the runner-up of "American Idol" season 8 is sporting a new haircut. Along with the photo, the Oprah camp also revealed to People Magazine that the "For Your Entertainment" singer has taped his interview for the show's January 19 edition on Wednesday, January 13.
During his sit-down with the queen of daytime talk show, Lambert will be heard talking about his life before and after "Idol" as well as his controversial performance at the 2009 American Music Awards. Beside having the interview, he also performs "Whataya Want from Me", his second single off album "For Your Entertainment".
On another news related to "The Oprah Winfrey Show", a behind-the-scene footage of Lady GaGa's appearance on the show has come out. In the snippet, the dance electronica singer can be seen talking about the new opening for her U.K. "Monster Ball Tour". Meanwhile, the episode featuring the 23-year-old will be aired on Friday, January 15.
