Although the song he first sang during his Washington, D.C. gig was said not to be included in 'Who I Am', the frontman of Nick Jonas and the Administration suggests it might be on its bonus edition.
Nick Jonas' new song "Stay", which he debuted during a performance on Nick Jonas and the Administration's January 2010 tour, might be released after all. The 17-year-old singer told MTV News that the newly-written tune could be included on a bonus edition of the band's debut album "Who I Am".
"It might be on a bonus edition," he shared during his stop at the Beacon Theater in New York. Although admitting that he wrote it a little late to be added to the album, the youngest member of the
Jonas Brothers is still putting up hope. "I wrote it a little late to add it to the record now, but you never know what could happen," he said.
Giving out more details about the song, Nick revealed the song just came to him while he was on the road. " 'Stay' is a song that I wrote that day we had off in Washington," he explained. "It came after some things that I was going through that really inspired it and I'm just in a good place right now and was able to get a song out of it, which is always nice."
Beside touring with his band The Administration, Nick Jonas is focusing on the release of "Who I Am", which is set to be available in U.S. stores on February 2. "It's exciting. It's just hard to believe it's all happening," he said of the album upcoming release. "I'm thankful to everyone who made it possible...not so much nervous. I think once we get closer I might be anxious to see what the response is, but so far it's been good and that's encouraging."
