Nicole Kidman Says Duet With Keith Urban a One Time Only

While presenting an award to 'The Mentalist' star Simon Baker at the G'Day USA Ball, the 'Nine' actress shows off her vocal ability as she sings alongside her country singer husband.

Although she has performed a duet with singer husband Keith Urban at G'Day USA Ball, Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman stated hat her performance Saturday, January 16 performance was a one time only. "This was a one off as a duo," the "Australia" actress said. "We're not going to be the new Jackie Trent and Tony Hatch."

As reported earlier, the pair performed a re-worked version of the Men at Work's hit "Down Under" as they presented an award to "The Mentalist" star Simon Baker at the Hollywood and Highland Ballroom in Hollywood. Together, the couple sang several lines, "His name is Simon Baker. Surfer dude. Home renovator. He was bound to be a Hollywood player." Apparently, Baker was impressed by the couple's short performances and was left speechless. "Wow," He said. "The song is something. That was a bit of a treat."

G'Day USA Ball is a two-week festival with events in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, San Diego and Palm Springs to promote Australian film, wine, food, tourism, trade and fashion. Several notable Aussie stars were seen attending the January 16 gala in Hollywood including "Avatar" actor Sam Worthington, sports legend Greg Norman and singer Toni Collette.

Keith Urban has previously addressed possibility of recording a duet with Nicole Kidman. "Would we do something together? I don't think it's ever out of the question. I don't know. We sort of do our own things professionally," he told OK! Magazine. "But I love singing with her at home. It's quite nice. She's a huge inspiration for everything I do."
