Bringing forth confirmation on the couple's split was Just Jared, which further claimed that the break-up happened on Saturday night, January 16, a night before the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards took place at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.
The site went on to reveal that it was Munn who called off her romance with the James T. Kirk of "
Star Trek". On the reason why, a source was cited as saying, "Olivia broke things off with Chris because they just didn't see eye to eye anymore. Even though he was sweet and charming at the beginning, his personality became too much to handle in the end."
Chris Pine and Olivia Munn have sparked rumor that their relationship was in trouble at the New York Times Style Magazine's Golden Globes cocktail party. Although both of them were attending the event held at the Chateau Marmont penthouse in West Hollywood on Friday, January 15, they were seen keeping their distance.
Just weeks earlier however, they were spotted enjoying each other company as they flirted and sipped drinks together at Los Angeles bar, The Woods. "They looked like they were having a lot of fun," a witness said. "They were really playful, and it seemed like they couldn't stop touching each other."
