Jennifer Lopez to Be De-Glamorized on 'Glee'

At the 2010 Golden Globes' backstage after the musical series won Best Comedy or Musical TV Series, show producer Ryan Murphy reveals he has written a cafeteria lady role for the 'Louboutins' singer.

Having starred as a hotel cleaner in 2002's "Maid in Manhattan", Jennifer Lopez is likely to take on another blue-collar worker role once again with her possible guest-starring part on "Glee". At the backstage of 2010 Golden Globe Awards on January 17, show creator Ryan Murphy told People Magazine that the producers want to bring in the "Louboutins" singer as a cafeteria lady.

"We want her to be a cafeteria lady," Murphy revealed after mentioning that the 40-year-old songstress herself is interested to take a part on the show which has been dubbed as this year's Best Comedy or Musical TV Series by the Globes. The man behind FX series "Nip/Tuck" further stated, "I have a meeting with Jennifer Lopez in a couple weeks."

Similar remark on the possible guest-starring role for Lopez was uttered by executive producer Brad Falchuk. Confirming that the wife of singer Marc Anthony is in talks for the show, he told E! News' Kristin Dos Santos, "Discussions are ongoing and we haven't gotten into the episode(s) she'd be appearing in."

While Jennifer Lopez is said to be in negotiations to join "Glee", series regular Lea Michele has another music star on her mind. "I'm rooting for Justin Timberlake," she said. "Aside from being an incredible singer and dancer, he's also a fantastic comedic actor, and that is a great cocktail for being on Glee. And I think he and Matt [Morrison] would have a fantastic dance-off."

The Rachel Berry depicter further confessed that the cast is going to shot the Madonna episode on Monday, January 18. "I think the fans will not be disappointed in the Madonna episode," she further added. "It's big and it's powerful, and the characters who are interacting together are not the ones you would expect. I feel like with each episode everything keeps escalating to a new level."
