Acknowledging she is 'way too boring to ever be a really great actress', the 'Valentine's Day' actress hints in recent interview that she might be thinking of shedding her good girl image.
Fearing that her good girl image may cost her movie roles,
Jessica Biel is considering to reinvent herself. In a recent interview with Vogue Magazine, the Larita Whittaker of "
Easy Virtue" sparked speculation that she could be planning to get more under the spotlight and into media attention than she used to be.
"I might just be way too boring to ever be a really great actress," the 27-year-old girlfriend of singer
Justin Timberlake at first admitted when speaking about her being so grounded. When her interviewer pointed out great stars "kick dust up everywhere they go", she responded, "I don't do that. Maybe I should do a little bit more of that. A dust kicker-upper might be kind of fun...."
Biel had once posed topless for Gear magazine in hopes that she could get more movie offers. Her decision, instead, placed her under media scrutiny. "I did this photo shoot; the photo shoot came out; it was terribly embarrassing," she recalled. "I had to apologize to everybody, including my parents. It was a big learning experience: learning how to have boundaries and how to say no."
Jessica Biel made her big break in Hollywood with her role as Mary Camden on TV series "7th Heaven". She has since appeared in various movies, including "
Blade: Trinity", "
The Illusionist" and "
I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry". She will next be seen as Kara Monahan in "
Valentine's Day" and as Carissa Sosa in "
The A-Team".
