Pneumonia and Kidney Infection Send Brooke Mueller to ICU

Soon after the real estate investor was rushed to the intensive care, an Aspen judge signs an emergency order allowing husband Charlie Sheen to be in her hospital room and communicate with her.

Pneumonia in both lungs and kidney infection have indeed become the causes Brooke Mueller was rushed to the intensive care with 105-degree fever on Tuesday night, January 19. Moira Fiore, the mother of Charlie Sheen's wife, admitted to People magazine. "I talked to her doctor, and they are filling Brooke with antibiotics," she added.

Unraveling what may have caused Mueller to contract the illness, Fiore stated, "She waited too long to get her impacted wisdom tooth removed and the infection has spread all over. It is in her bloodstream." She also opened up about Sheen visiting her daughter in the ICU, "Charlie has been to the hospital several times and is very concerned about Brooke."

Soon after Mueller was admitted to the intensive care, Sheen has been granted a court approval to have contact with his third wife. A judge in Aspen, Colorado, who is in charge for the couple's case, has temporarily suspended a restraining order imposed after Sheen was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence on Christmas Day.

Backing up the report on the lifting up of the restraining order was Sheen's representative Stan Rosenfield. "When Charlie found out Brooke was in the hospital, he immediately drove there to see her to show his love and support," he stated. "Charlie can have contact with his wife as long as she's in the hospital."

Brooke Mueller and Charlie Sheen were actually scheduled to appear before judge for a hearing on Friday, January 22 stemming from his Christmas Day arrest. Since Mueller fell sick, however, her lawyer Yale Galanter told People that the day will be used to decide on how to proceed with the scheduled hearing. To E! News, the attorney detailed, "When her medical condition changed, it was my opinion there was no way she could be in Aspen for a Friday hearing, and the judge is not allowing her to appear by phone. So, we filed a motion requesting the hearing date be pushed to February 8."
