Covered only by a sheet while laying on bed, the 'Twilight Saga' beauty gets scolded by James Gandolfini for her foul language in the first footage of the Jake Scott-directed drama.
After releasing a batch of stills exposing Kristen Stewart in "Welcome to the Rileys", Argonaut Pictures came out with a closer look at her troubled teenage prostitute portrayal through a brand new clip. The sneak peek reels in a scene between the "Twilight Saga" beauty's Mallory and James Gandolfini's Doug Riley.
In the snippet, the 19-year-old actress can be seen laying naked in bed covered only by a sheet when Gandolfini barges into the room. He then orders her to wake up and accompany him to a laundromat. When she asks for her money, he gives her that and adds a warning for her to cut out foul language or he'll deduct her money.
Kristen Stewart has previously talked about her Mallory part to WENN. "It was just the hardest subject matter I've ever had to deal with - I play a very broken young girl who is a runaway," she explained. "She's a street kid. She's working in a strip club and James Gandolfini's character is just as dead inside as she is - and they wake each other up."
"Welcome to the Rileys" itself has recently been announced as one of the In Competition movies at 2010 Sundance Film Festival, which unfolds January 21 to 31 in Park City, Utah. Commenting about Stewart's performance in the drama, festival director John Cooper gushed that the "The Runaways" actress is "about to really change her image".
