Kellan Lutz Donates Clothing For Haiti Relief

Showing support to Haiti relief efforts, the 'Twilight Saga' heartthrob is seen carrying a basket full of clothing into a donation center in Westwood.

While many celebrities have teamed up for "Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief" telethon, Kellan Lutz literally takes donation matter into his own hands. On Thursday afternoon, January 21, the Kellan Lutz of "Twilight" spent time for charity as he was snapped carrying a basket full of clothing for Haiti relief at a donation center in Westwood, California.

After dropping off the donation, the 24-year-old actor was seen walking out to his car with a smile on his face while swinging his empty basket. It was reported that on his way home, the "A Nightmare on Elm Street" made a stop at The Lamplighter for some take out. Photos of him doing the good deed can be seen via Gossip Center.

In another news, Kellan Lutz has lost his chance at portraying the titular character of Marcus Nispel-directed "Conan". Although the new face of Calvin Klein underwear was listed as one of the strong contenders for the part along with "Supernatural" star Jared Padalecki, he has to admit defeat from "Stargate Atlantis" actor Jason Momoa.

"Hope for Haiti" telethon itself will be aired on every major U.S. TV networks as well as CNN worldwide on Friday, January 22, starting at 5 P.M. PST. A number of young Hollywood stars have agreed to participate in the telecast. They include "Twilight Saga" star Robert Pattinson, "17 Again" actor Zac Efron, Disney songstress Selena Gomez and country crooner Taylor Swift.
