Although ended up with bruises all over her legs for the filming of a pole dancing scene in her upcoming drama film, the 'Twilight Saga' actress admits 'the more I saw it, the more I wanted it'.
"Twilight Saga" beauty
Kristen Stewart has recently revealed the unpleasant things she experienced during the filming of independent movie "
Welcome to the Rileys". The 19-year-old actress told Marc Malkin of E! News that she hurt herself while filming one of the scene which required her to do pole dancing.
At the movie premiere at 2010 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah on Saturday, January 23, the rumored girlfriend of
Robert Pattinson said, "I got bruises all over my legs. I tore myself up doing it. It sucked." Though so, she admitted she enjoyed the scene. "The more I saw it, the more I wanted it," she shared. "It was like a weird self-hating kind of thing."
Stewart, who takes on the role of Mallory in the movie, spent about two weeks training for pole dancing with an actual stripper. "I wanted to do it in my clothes," she revealed when asked about the training. However, her stripper trainer said, "No, you don't stick to the poll when you do that."
On the occasion, Stewart also revealed that she freaked out the first time she had to put on fishnets. She further added since the movie was filmed before her "Twilight Saga" fame, she was able to walk around the streets without anyone noticing. "I was literally walking down the street in cut-off shorts and a robe that was cinched. I looked like a crackhead!" she said, adding her character is not sultry nor sexy.
In addition to her appearance at the premiere of "Welcome to the Rileys", Kristen Stewart alongside co-star
Dakota Fanning also came to see
Joan Jett & The Blackhearts hit the stage at the Harry O's Concert Series. In front of audience, the two actresses were given a shout-out by Jett for their performances in "
The Runaways".
