'Nashville Star' alum Justin Gaston reveals he knew the 'Hannah Montana' actress was ready to leave him and was hurt 'where you feel like you'll never feel again'.
Miley Cyrus' former boyfriend
Justin Gaston apparently has not forgotten about their break-up. To E! News, the "Nashville Star" alum has recently shared some of his deep thoughts on his failed romance to the "Hannah Montana" star.
"You can always tell when someone's getting ready to leave you," the 21-year-old singer said. "But you try so hard not to believe it and to hold on to every bit of hope that's left." He further shared, "I think everyone experiences the side of being hurt where you feel like you'll never feel again."
Gaston's debut single "Paper Hearts" is said to have been heavily influenced by his split from "
The Last Song" leading lady. Though so, the model for
Taylor Swift's music video for "Love Story" doesn't want people to feel sorry for him as he quickly added that "life goes on, and you move on. You look back at it and laugh."
Justin Gaston met Miley Cyrus when appearing as a contestant on "Nashville Star" hosted by Miley's father
Billy Ray Cyrus in early 2008. The couple split in June 2009 shortly after Cyrus went to Tybee Island in Georgia for the filming of her upcoming movie "The Last Song".
Miley has since been rumored dating co-star
Liam Hemsworth. She recently unraveled that she dreams to be a wedding planner. "My dream job was to become a wedding planner. I like the idea of putting a great event together," she confessed. "But I am terrible with time schedules," she further shared, adding that she doesn't even have a watch.
