The 'Salt' actress along with brother James Haven create a video tribute in memory of their late mother, who lost her battle with ovarian cancer on January 27, 2007 at the age of 56.
Amid conflicting reports over her love life with Brad Pitt, Hollywood star Angelina Jolie has paid tribute to late mother Marcheline Bertrand. In remembrance of her mother who died of ovarian cancer on January 27, 2007, the "Changeling" actress along with brother James Haven have put together a video to celebrate their memories of her.
The compilation of footage sees Jolie, Haven and their mother on a family trip to Hawaii in 1981. In the beginning of the video, the siblings include a message that reads, "One place Marcheline loved was Hawaii." They further mention that their mom who passed away the age of 56 "made many happy memories for her family there."
When the message fades away, the two-minute video jumps to a scene of Bertrand, Haven and 6-year-old Jolie on a beach learning how to hula and playing around in their hotel room. The video, which has Israel Kamakawiwo'ole's version of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" playing in the background, ends with a message from Jolie and Haven that reads, "We miss you mom...With love, Angelina and James".
A representative for Haven confirmed to E! News that Angelina Jolie and James Haven, who are the children of Marcheline Bertrand with actor Jon Voight, indeed created the tribute with old home movies. The two siblings posted it on YouTube on Tuesday, January 26, a day before the third anniversary of their mother's passing.
