Confirmed as a guest star for a March episode of the CBS sitcom, the 'Louboutins' hitmaker will portray a no-nonsense self-help guru that teaches women how to retrain men through the power of denial.
"How I Met Your Mother" will see
Jennifer Lopez making attempts in breaking Barney of his womanizing ways. On Wednesday, January 27, CBS has come out with a statement confirming that the "Louboutins" hitmaker has joined the list of celebrities tapped to be guest stars on the popular sitcom for this season.
The 40-year-old will be filling the shoes of Anita Appleby on an episode to be aired in March. In the press release, her character is explained to be "a no-nonsense author of self-help books that teach women how to train men into relationship machines through the power of denial". She, reportedly, will attempt to "break" Barney after Robin tells her how he acts toward women.

The Back-Up Plan" actress. "We're looking forward to a week of revealing outfits and sexy dance moves the likes of which this show hasn't seen since Regis Philbin guest starred."
Beside Jennifer Lopez, "How I Met Your Mother" fans could expect
Carrie Underwood making her acting debut on the TV show in March. The country crooner has filmed her guest-starring part earlier, and said she had "a blast" doing it. It was reported that she will play Tiffany, a pharmaceutical sales rep and Ted's love interest.
