The leading actress of 'Dear John' presents one of the songs from the romantic drama movie's soundtrack through this acoustic ballad.
A song from "Dear John" soundtrack has been made available for listening pleasure as E! Online has just premiered acoustic ballad called "Little House". Described to be a wistful love song, it is penned and performed by leading actress Amanda Seyfried.
"Little House" isn't the first song the 24-year-old actress sang for a feature film. Back in 2008, the "Big Love" actress showed off her singing ability in "Mamma Mia!".For the particular comedy musical, she covered such ABBA's songs as "I Have A Dream", "Lay All Your Love on Me" and "Thank You for the Music".
Although it won't be released in U.S. stores on February 2, the soundtrack album for "Dear John" has been made available for pre-order on Amazon. It is set to come out the same day the film's score album can be purchased. The score was composed by Deborah Lurie, who recorded her score with the Hollywood Studio Symphony at the Warner Brothers Eastwood Scoring Stage.
"Dear John" has Amanda Seyfried starring as Savannah Curtis opposite Channing Tatum's John Tyree. The Nicholas Sparks' novel adaptation follows the romantic relationship between the two through love letters overseas-correspondence. Richard Jenkins, Henry Thomas and Scott Porter in supporting roles. It will open wide in U.S. theaters on February 5.
