Having a chance to be a guest host on 'Live with Regis and Kelly', the 'Camp Rock' star says 'that was a good test' for starting to host his own show.
Nick Jonas is mulling over being a talk show host. Having his own musical venture with side project Nick Jonas and The Administration, the youngest member of
Jonas Brothers now eyes on having his own talk show. "I thought about getting my own talk show before. I think it'd be fun." he told MTV News.
"I think that ['Regis and Kelly'] was a good test and let me know that maybe I'll stick to music," the 17-year-old stated when referring to his guest host role on "Live with Regis and Kelly" on January 8. He continued to say. "I had a great time and people said I did alright, but it definitely was a little bit out of my element. I had a great time and it was an honor they asked me to be apart of it."
In another news, it is revealed that Nick Jonas' obsession on his presidential plays a part in his music. To Radio Disney Total Access Weekend, the singer who plays a character named Nate in "
Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam", opened up, "The original secret name for this project was 'The P.O.T.U.S. Project'."
"Obviously we decided not to call it that...," the singer who is nicknamed "The President" by brothers
Joe Jonas and
Kevin Jonas elaborated, "but when it came to the song writing, we felt that that could be the outlet where we could use these presidential concepts and tie it all together to make a record that was just personal and real to me."
