While the country singer shows her elegant side on the red carpet of the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards, Lady GaGa gets over the top with her solar-system gown and Katy Perry sizzles in her backless dress.
Big names in music industry had come out to the Staples Center on Sunday, January 31 for the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards, and among those stealing the red carpet spotlight was
Carrie Underwood. The 26-year-old country star, who is nominated for two Grammys, sparkled in her silvery white floor-length gown with silver strappy detailing on her shoulders.
While Underwood dressed to impress for the red carpet, another musician
Lady GaGa showed off her unique style once again. The dance electronica singer, who is up for five awards for the night, was spotted on the red carpet in a custom-made Giorgio Armani Prive gown. Sported a shiny, silvery, three-dimensional dress, she promised other outfits for the night.
"I am honored to be wearing Armani this evening," the 23-year-old said of her collaboration with Giorgio Armani in a statement as quoted by The Canadian Press. "The series of pieces Mr. Armani created for me are truly iconic; they represent not only beautiful fashion, but my spirit and essence as an artist."
Another Grammy nominee gracing the red carpet was the newly-engaged
Katy Perry. The 25-year-old was seen in a backless Zac Posen dress completed with Casadei heels, earrings by Dijan from Lebanon, and a Judith Leiber Elephant bag. Coming to the special event, she was accompanied by fiance
Russell Brand.
Those three weren't the only celebrities attended the Grammys this year.
Stacy Ferguson aka Fergie and her fellow
Black Eyed Peas band mates were also hitting the red carpet. She, in particular, wore an electric blue strapless dress.
Taylor Swift, meanwhile, was seen in a dark steel blue gown with off-the-shoulder detailing.
Heidi Klum,
Jennifer Hudson, Jennifer Nettles of
Sugarland were also spotted at the red carpet.
2010 Grammy Awards will be aired live on CBS. Lady GaGa,
