The four musician have given out one special performance at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards when they take the stage together and sing 'Drop the World' and 'Forever'.
Eminem, Lil Wayne, Drake and Travis Barker have come together for a special performance at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards. Being the last performers on the Sunday, January 31 event, all four musicians took the stage to deliver two songs, Weezy's "Drop the World" and Drake's "Forever".
First to hit the stage were Weezy and Barker. Following an introduction by Quentin Tarantino, the director of the acclaimed "Inglourious Basterds", the two rocked the stage with "Drop the World" tune. Eminem then joined the two when his verse came up. After an alarm was rung, Drake hit the stage singing "Forever".
Before those four artists showcased their talents, Jamie Foxx has teamed up with T-Pain, Doug E. Fresh, Slash in performing "Blame It". Fox, who wore a Union Jack costume invited audience to dance to the music, before Slash hit the stage toward the end of the performance by strumming his guitar to "November Rain".
Other performers on the night include Bon Jovi as well as Mary J. Blige and Andrea Bocelli. Blige and Bocelli, in particular, gave a performance in remembrance of the Haiti earthquake's victims. They sang "Bridge Over Troubled Water", which can be downloaded on iTunes and proceeds will go to Haiti relief.
On the special night, there was also a tribute to the late Michael Jackson. Introduced by Lionel Richie, it rolled out with a recording of Jackson's comment on how he hated pollution and destruction of the earth. It led to his "Earth Song" as Usher, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson and Smokey Robinson took turn singing the tune.
2010 Grammy Awards was aired live on CBS from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Beyonce Knowles was the big winner on the night with six kudos which include Song of the Year, while Taylor Swift took home four titles, including Album of the Year. Kings of Leon and Zac Brown Band were among the other winners.
